Story feels most bleak at the bottom, most compelling at the top.
Yes, human nature ... i am way too subject to its failings myself ... held onto over a third of my ite/jdx after staring at a 4.00 bid for hours and knowing it was a Very Good Price ... now the bid can't get it up to a buck and a quarter and the devil on one shoulder says dump it it's doing you wrong ... but, not gonna ... it's a bit late now -g- ... and a bit early ... same with suf, i held onto a fair bit on the way back down from 3.00 ... that's ok, it'll come back ... i don't have the deep hard feelings because while i've held suf off and on for years it was mostly off, the last few months have been the longest continuous time. It must be hard on longtermers. Understandable the rage and disgust that comes over people at a certain point on the chart. One time i absolutely tanked a William A. Trimble issue, just blew it out in one day, didn't care any more. That felt good, worth the loss, sort of. But then it didn't have a platinum mine coming on, either.

We're not machines ... and all this is more art than science ... yet we get by.

Such profundity on a Friday afternoon! Check out Tom's post to me on the Dutch Bank thread, the one about Soros, I mean. We're not the only ones who sometimes have trouble selling.

It's tough to remember that "THE MAJORITY IS ALWAYS WRONG"
