Scumbria, I'm not asking the question well so I'll start over. In response to Victor's statement: I have never been on the SI AMD thread even to lurk. But i sure hope there isn't a cadre of rmbs bulls over there spending their every waking minute trying to poke techncial shots at AMD, like you folks do here. you responded: Until a few weeks ago, the noise level from Intel folks was pretty high on the AMD thread. For some reason it seems to have tailed off. It sounds to me as if you're saying that in response to the Intel folks invading the AMD thread, the AMD folks are invading the RMBS thread. That makes no sense to me; if the AMD folks are upset about the Intel invasion, go invade the Intel thread. Coming here is no response at all. Dave
