unbelievable. emachines clientelle are first time consumer buyers who eventually graduate to more robust systems. it's good for the business. so they sell Dell stock, the business system giant, because a couple million consumers want an inexpensive tv?

dell has a similar "emachine" program going for Latin America and in test markets. MD has stated that Dell can turn a gross profit on their ebusiness systems comparable to current Dell PC sells - can emachines claim likewise without the manufacturing efficiencies and market awareness equations of Dell?

they should try successfully (comparably) running MS office 2000 on those emachines...
