They are down "at least 30%" this year and have basically liquidated a great deal of their high tech holdings....For Soros being down 30% is huge...its a loss of many BILLIONS...one also has to remember the fund holders paid a huge incentive fee (a percentage of profits, at least 20% of profits) last year...down 30% after such a fee is paid is hard to stomach by the institutional guys (big banks, insurance companies). A head had to roll and now it has..now that they are out..a great time to get in IMHO...little retail accounts are not the only one's who get in trouble with leverage.
