One has to ask, why is SSTI doing so well, both in growth and in stock price? There have been many posts on this thread suggesting that SNDK has not done enough to promote the name of SANDISK. Yet SSTI is even less known. In fact it is almost a stealth flash memory maker. Can anyone name a specific consumer product by model number that uses SSTI memory? So is name brand so important for this market? I have spent some time trying to get a grip on what makes this company tick, and so far not much to sink my teeth into.

Food for thought for the weekend. Why did we all miss the boat with SSTI? Even Ausdauer who knows more about flash memory than almost anyone except Eli, jumped that ship too soon. The second worst feeling for me as an investor is getting out of a stock and watching it take off!

I was surprise to find out using a chart overlay, that if you invested the same amount of money Last April 2, 1999, in SNDK and SSTI, you would have made 3 times as much money in SSTI.. Even when SNDK was at it's high, your SSTI investment was way ahead.

The more important question is where do these boats go from here and why, and where will both of them be next April?

Have a good weekend all.
