Yeah, that nose dive on the Dow looked pretty contrived...Rande's theory on it's recent activity is very believable. Seems like the S&P is more closely tracking the Dow now than the COMPX, I thought it used to be the other way around. I'd be interested in knowing the make-up of the S&P, which way it is more weighted, if anyone knows offhand.

I'm hanging onto the biotechs I've got. I think they have some more play in them since they really haven't participated until today. I've let go of my 1st tier high fliers, have a few second tier, like SVNX (this one has yet to really budge), EXDS will be in play for a few more days. Then there's the LQID/SFO combo which should reward nicely next week. Made some bottom-feeding buys this week too on OMKT, MMPT, HEAR, IRSN, ect.

I think Kevin's technical call of another hard bottom is very likely, though at a higher low. So I imagine I'll have more chances to buy again. I think we're going to roll back and forth for a while. The MDA thread is predicting a rough time of May 4-15 with non-farm payroll and then the FED, so more fear, panic selling, buying ops. Repeat, repeat....

It would be real nice to go out on the Compx at 3900, but I'll take 3888, because it has a nice ring to it.
