Hello niceguy767, Re: Another possibility does exist...that being consumer willingness to pay a premium price for a "SMOOTHER" performing chip, the "spry Athy"...Intel no longer has the superior chip...As a result, the rules are now very different than one year ago...AMD with its "spry Athy" is no longer Intel's "puppet on a string"! Absolutely true! I'm happy to say that we just purchased the componets to assemble forty more of those SMOOTH running Athlon computers. Athlon based computers make an amazing system. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to handle the "politics" of the situation here...more people want them than we have machines...just have to buy more I guess.
