LQID's getting some big trades going by. Shorts don't want to get stuck holding this one on Monday, and longs are taking a chance that the story evolves over the weekend. Monday should be fun.

Well, I made roughly 45 trades today. . .but gained about 7% on the day overall. And the biggest factor was being quick to spot trends. That is why this type of forum is so important. . .and why the team we have created works so well. . . and why my plan is to grow what we have here.

Thanks much to all those that contributed to the thread this week. It really feels good to have done so well this week, after watching the entire market drop so hard. I hope many of you are doing well. . . I know those that sold techs with me in March are doing very well. . .

If I've learned anything this year it is this. . .

We cannot limit ourselves to a single trading style anymore. Value investors need some tech. Tech investors need some value. Long-term investors and position traders need some momentum trades. Momentum traders need some buy and holds. Everyone needs to short-sell the market now and then. . or at least the QQQ. And everyone needs to learn to both read the markets and time the markets. Finally, we all need to learn to ignore the pundits.

This is the formula to success in this new volatile stock market, in my opinion. Best wishes to all and may each of you have a wonderful weekend!

Warning: personal opinion coming...

Was just watching the coverage of the Justice Dept giving opinion on MS breakup.

Joel Klein of the DOJ is a biased idiot and his boss Janet Waco is a criminal. The real monopoly to be feared is the Federal Govt., not Microsoft. Wake up America!

Sorry for the harsh words - I had to say it...
