Hi Veritas,

I bought my shares when this company was named Teknor
in Mars 1998. Big Story, but the name changed to Saco.
I sold all my shares at 6.80$ in January 2000
(I was very lucky on this),
but I might come back at these prices.

If I'd know someone would actually look at this thread,
I would have given you my feedback before you bought...
always better to make an informed decision.
Anyway, don't feel bad, this company can have a significant upside.

Reasons to sell and Reasons to buy:

I sold because of:

- The company is very slow to release their numbers.
I was used to get numbers less than a month after the end of a Quarter but this company is using the maximum time permitted. I e-mailed Investors relations and got no response. BTW, the website is smartvision.com

- Lawsuit from an old distributor

- At that time, I had a better place to park my money (SGEM:CDN)

-Strange announcement from Michel Gareau, one of the biggest
shareholders at the time. (don't know now). He sold some or all of his shares to a Netherlands guy.

Reasons to sell after I sold (Jan 2000):

- They lost OR dismissed their CFO. They're not saying.

- Disappointing results for Y1999 and Q1 2000:
Sales are increasing but SG&A is increasing faster
and margins decreased significantly.

Reasons to buy now:

- The Nasdaq screen is a VERY good marketing tool.

- The price is at its 52 week low.

- The lawsuit "might" come to an end.

- Sales "could" be ramping.

With all those "IF", I will wait a bit.

Looking forward for your comments...
I wonder about P/S ratios at these prices...
I'll be checking that.

Thanks for coming !
