I think that what is happening here is that Lorrie, who has some strong personal reasons for feeling as she does, and we, who are loving parents whose kids (thus far) have turned out pretty well, are using different vocabularies. We just aren't understanding each other at all. We can all talk louder and louder and wave our arms and it won't do any good, or we can move on to the next topic. I was listening to the radio on the way back from Dallas this afternoon and heard the breakdown of those figures about the cost to tax payers. They aren't as high as one would think, but I bet they aren;t done yet. The rhetoric has gotten so extreme that I don't trust anything I'm hearing anymore. FOr instance- the deadbeat dad comment from ebill left me puzzled. I thought I had read that Juan had a very good job in Cuba. And that Lazaro hadn't worked in several years.
