"How can the POG rise in the face of that?"

Enigma:
======
I believe it can and has
- the POG isn't just an inverse barometer of the US $.
I really feel it's the auction and sale that are doing the damage
- a double whammy which is hurting sentiment.

Hutch:
=====
Why can't the Price of Gold just be over valued,
and thus decrease in price?

Dougak:
======
In the old Russia, the USSR,
the streets were clean and crime free,
as observed by foreigners who visited.
For example, one from the streets of N.Y. City
who experiences every day the opposite,
made the observation that based on the
strength and solidness and durability
exhibited in keeping the streets clean
and safe, that he predicted that if you returned
in the year 2000 that nothing would have changed.
But upon saying that another commented that the
underling reason, the method used, to keep the
streets clean and safe, were not those of a
free society, but thru the use of force by
the state upon their citizens.
(on topic) Now wonder if the price of gold,
clean and safe to reflect no inflation
and a strong and healthy economy was born
not from a free market but one fixed and
manipulated thru corruption and criminal force.
If so, and no smoking gun does gata have,
but if so, then as the USSR collapsed thru the
rotten foundation of its leaders, then might the
foundation preventing a free gold market crumble ?

The point I'm making in relation to the US $ is that gold can act according to its own dynamics.
