There was a fairly long article on Hikari on the WSJ today. If some one has the online version, they could cut and paste.

What fun. The first message I get from this article is that the forces propelling us ever upward a few months ago is still in place, maybe even better as Hikari is effectively no more.

People selling 9984 because Hikari blew up is now understandable especially if folks bought on margin. I do not mind playing in a crooked game as long as I know the rules and the rules do not change mid-game.

Next time (August?) ... we sell high and buy low, for a change. One good thing about the 9984 warrants is that they actually trade even as Goldman makes a killing both ways.

Watching 9984 in free fall without transaction was not satisfying at all. If TSE truly wanted to protect the small investors they should simply dictate that stock prices can only rise on each successive trade.

No, TSE, I was not serious about that suggestion!

For the rest of us, be careful as we go forward. This bear is not yet finished with us.
