The problem with this law is, it isn't universally recognized as being a good law, or even an appropriate law.

If I were Bill I would move the whole company to another country. I would let the government suffer to loss of taxes and the effect that it would have on the GDP. Then I would see who wanted to bitch about it.

My point is, had we left with the old Standard Oil, we still have Shell.

Keep in mind that a body (or a company) can only be so efficient to certain point. Once it has exceeded, it will no longer be effective. Take a look at our government, it is too big and no one really know who to report to. There are too many redundants. Standard Oil would have broken up eventually without the government in the form of spinoff.

Microsoft freed us from the overpriced Apples (hardwares and softwares), who is the true monopoly.
