Freeway - wow, you get around don't you (VBG)? ... I've seen some of your posts - all around SI during my Tech-a-rama adventure here of late. No; I sold all but, a small core LT holding in my GMST - but, it is atop my buy-back list. I sent JimL a PM this morning talking about some of what I was playing in Tech - he can confirm if anyone disbelieves the "Luck" I had today - which in reality was the result of more hours of research than I have ever done in a short period of time - as I literally was "cramming" on the Tech Sector...day & night of late. I am buried in research reports, charts, printed out message board analysis by the top SI posters etc... (PS - big thanks to Michael Happel for ATMI - traded it twice for nice returns). I've allways felt what I do best - is to pick stocks; good companies. Walking in cold to "Tech" - I think I did pretty good. I had 20-30% margin leveraged moves on VTSS - my largest holding - along with GMST ATMI VYTL PKTR and a nice move on my only real net pureplay - CMGI along with a couple of other nice bumps in NTAP RFMD etc.... When I saw what I was up for the day - I started pacing... felt like like I was on the mound with Griffey Jr. at the plate, in Cinci - with the Stadium shaking as the crowd was screaming...bases loaded, full count, two outs, bottom of the ninth - score tied & him digging in; just knowing a fastball was coming... But; wroooooong MR. Market; Junior aint gettin no stinkin` fastball to hit - time for a change up ! So, I "pulled the string" - sold and took the profits ! - Rang that Register ! and stashed the cash in Mr. Texaco !!!!!!!!!!! This was the most incredible day and two weeks that I could have ever envisioned for trading... luck, opportunity - being in the right place at the right time ? .... whatever.... I got it in the drawer tonight & the Tech profits went to rest under the safety & securtiy of the 5 pointed Star of Mr. Texaco.... Sleep well ~ I am... what a week, what a day; what a country ! - I'm exhausted...
