You are an experienced professional trader with deep pockets and a keen instinct for momentum shifts in the market. I was speaking about the average non-professional. Just looking around SI I see a handful of people like you that have excelled on the short side and several that stopped shorting or just vanished as the Naz kept running.

The average Joe on the long side may have lost some profits recently, but he has has seen extraordinary returns in the past five years compared to traditional "safe" Dow stocks that seem to blow up on a regular basis.

I'm just glad that the average guy can go long and short these days. I don't buy anyone's prediction where this market is going over the next few years - lots of hot air on TV from "experts" that are usually wrong.
