Time Warner Cable, a
unit of Time Warner
Entertainment, owns the world's most advanced cable television
operations.

Concurrent will supply Time Warner Cable with its VOD equipment for
calendar year 2000 and 2001.

Concurrent's MediaHawk VOD system is commercially launched at
Oceanic Cable in Hawaii and is testing stages at Time Warner's Tampa
division. The MediaHawk system is a network of video servers and
specialized software applications.

Earlier this week, Concurrent announced a similar pact with Cox
Communications. Atlanta-based Cox said it selected Concurrent 's VOD
hardware and software for residential customers.

The nation's No. 5 cable television company (COX: news, msgs) plans to
introduce VOD services for a limited number of customers in San Diego
later this year. The services enables customers to instantly view digital
movies.
