Hi uncle west, I got one of the gstrf phones and tried it on a cruise to no avail...I will be traveling into Mexico's Copper Canyon on May 11 for about a week. The only means of communication is by telegraph....This phone will be very interesting, I will once again be checking out this phone...... This dude better work because this area is suppose to be covered now. We'll see. BTW There is a distributor in Pompano Beach, Fl. Last month (March) was the first month that I was charged for full service....they were charging me 1/2 because of the lack of coverage. I think that they have dropped the cost of the phones to approx. 1200 from 1500. love, dealer
