Yeah- what are all those American prozac prescriptions written for? And why do we have any suicides? We should all be HAPPY because we are free. Freedom is a blessing and a curse. Some people would rather be without it. It is our obligation in a semi- free country (for even we are not truly free- try not paying your taxes, or your motor vehicle registration...) to support freedom of decision EVEN (or I would say MOST importantly) when it goes against our own cherished beliefs. Freedom to think exactly the same as everyone else is meaningless- it is the freedom to believe what is NOT popular, what is in fact, anti-popular, and to act on that (provided we don't violate the laws), that distinguishes our way of life.
