How long do they wait before they scan for intra day highs?

OZ:

I would guess that Dominick is asking at what time of day do they begin trading intraday highs. Obviously, there are many, many stocks hitting intraday highs immediately after the open. I assume they wait an hour or more before they consider the intraday high to be a significant event to warrant a trade?

P.S. Great posts, OZ. Thanks.

<<Is this what you were asking?>>

Exactly! Gadzooks! An up market must give them carpal tunnel. I can understand having ten to twenty stocks and type the symbols in quickly, but when hundreds of stocks are moving up I imagine they'll just buy at the offer but how can you monitor the trades when you still have another 300 symbols to type?

I bet they have weird looking fingers. :)
