Bretsky,

It looks like we have a couple things in common.

...I am so incredibly torn is with all the tax implications...

Fear of tax is the only thing that kept me from cashing out of Q options on December 31st with a 20 bagger. As it turns out, I ended up settling for a little more than half that a couple of weeks later. Not bad, but small comfort. I should've just given uncle sam his due and been done with it. I need a set-in-stone strategy for making such decisions in the future.

Regarding a sick wife. For almost 4 months my lovely wife couldn't even open the fridge without getting sick. There were a couple of times when a TV commercial showing food would send her running for the bathroom. It was awful. But ohhhhhhh man! You should see what we got out it! Keana is the most precious thing I've EVER seen. Makes that 20 bagger look like moldy cheese by comparison.

reBought TLAB a long time ago at $8 so cashing in would kill me in taxes
Of course you (and everyone) knows I consider taxes theft, and paying them is nauseating, but a very wise person once told me to avoid using the existence of taxes in my investment decisions. Your gains most likely are capital gains which makes them subject to "only" 20% taxes; you might want to run a little test and see if selling at least some of the TLAB and putting it into a company you believe will give you great returns would not be worth it.

And speaking of BRCM, any chance we might get a peak at that Project Hunt report?
