Something to ponder: Quantum Fund (George Soros)was just broken up and they were heavily invested in technology. In Soros' words, they stayed too long. I have no idea whether they owned CYMI or not but as a major, major player (heavily margined as well) in technology issues their intensive selling in the stocks that they do own would cause ripple effects in other issues as well.

Zeev, I don't think that the issue with DD is demand, its pricing and supply. Some think that the bottom has finally been reached with some rationalization of production and lessening competitive pressures on pricing. I don't believe it... These company's are caught in a vicious cycle that just doesn't seem to ever end.

Zeev: I think CSFB was referring to pricing issues, rather than production. And yes something doesn't jibe. On the other hand, look at what VECO did following that severely disappointing report. Like a yo-yo. CYMI is like a yo-yo too. But the trick its performing is called, I believe, Walking the Dog. The time has come for a broadening of the product base here and a move into other laser lines. M2
