In response to that problem. . . .

I'm working on automating a several new indicators on the net. But I need someone good with writing HTML & JAVA scripts and has a decent understanding of spreadsheets and number. I also need to find a source of financial data that has time to try new things. . . or doesn't mind bending the rules.

Sidebar: I have a hard enough time getting finanacial data services just to respond to email requests and phone calls. . . seems they are overloaded. . . one place came back and said for 2.5k per month he'll give me this and for 10k per month he'll give me that. . . entirely forgetting [conveniently?] that just a week prior we had come to a verbal agreement that all that I wanted would only cost 300 bucks per month. . .but at least he called back. . . most simply pass my messages down the chain of command until a salesperson gets it and calls. . .barely even understanding what their company sells. . . so climbing that ladder to get back with someone that does. . .can take weeks in phone tag or worse. . .unanswered email.

While I am WAY off topic. . . what is with companies cutting off their phone numbers. . . or insisting you contact them via email. . . and when you do. . .you get no response?

I would estimate that when writing email to a corporation or institution, only 20% of it ever gets a response.

Just another reason I say, "the internet barely works."

Rande."This new more volatile market requires a new way of thinking" This ,what told to the Thread sometimes ago.
This market is not the same like used to be a few years ago.
Standart indicators are giving less and less information, day by day....You can not FRAME that market in an old indicators any more.
Mutation of the "genes",like in human body...

Here's what I find so funny about this story.

All of us "little guys" and "daytraders" are mocked and blamed for all the volatility, called "retail sheep" and other names not suitable for a family board by these professionals. I've seen a number of writings taking satisfaction in the supposed destruction of the daytraders in this move down.

Well, ain't it interesting to see that the supreme grand poobahs of the bull market are getting caught long at the top and unable to get out. I don't know a single daytrader or short term trader who was faked out by that intraday rebound on April 4. We nailed that dip and sold out, I guess to Druckenmiller and Company <G>.

Maybe they ought to spend more time on the Home, Daytrading Fundamentals and MDD threads <G>.
