Hi GZ I'm thinkin' (there he goes again .. over the hill) that we got a run up goin' with the NDX .. Probably with some rotation out of the DJIA to feed it .. OK .. the SPX is made up of some of each .. so then if the Wilshire stayed the same then we'd have a flat SPX a down DJIA and a up NDX .. Now then .. my monthly pattern has me watchin' for the long again. The pattern is based on the SPX. So then .. I got (at best for your case) DJIA down SPX up and NDX up. Then we got the Soros thing .. He cleaned house .. went to cash .. and is about to fire up ten small funds that are supposed to be less agressive. That bodes toward the DJIA up. (prolly the NDX also) which makes the OEX up which would take the SPX with it.

but, I really don't have a clue, so don't follow me.....<g> No one knows, but, like you, I'd keep my money in the technology area although I think GE could do well in the future. I expect the volatility in the NAS to continue though, do you? Cheers, Mephisto
