Rand wrote about the Montesorri school system as being the best early education for a child.

A person can be very happy and cultured in Santiaga de Cuba or Havanna. The difference is you are openly allowed to pursue your objectives. In a one for all, all for one value system, you might be a great artist but the collective whole says you clean up after the donkeys because we don't collectively agree with your vision.

You have the freedom to make your own mistakes. A collective reduces everybody to the lowest common denominator and everybody gets treated like a six year old child.

What type of philosophy would you choose if you lived in a nation where the leader could not be impeached for his own actions. Pardon me, you do live in that kind of nation.

There is no limit to what a despot will do if he can get away with it. No amount of money or power will ever satisfy.

Is that black or white?
