I like n2growthe's version. Where they first determine which stocks in the index are equal to or greater than the market.
For example, if spyder XLK has 80 stocks and only 20 have the greater relative strength, they preload those 20 stocks to represent XLK.

Just wanted to thank you so much for all of the very informative posts you have brought to our attention. I think this is probably one of the most interesting topics when it comes to trading. I think we as traders can learn so much from those that are extremely successful. You won't find this type of strategy pointed out in any guru daytrading book. These guys don't have time to write a book (LOL). They are too busy making and spending money.
