Softbank has a great long term future. I was only experimenting with the system of market makers here in the US. I had an earlier experience when I was buying Softbank supposedly on a GTC order for overnight execution in Tokyo. The order was actually executed at my limit but the stock never reached that limit in overnight trading in Tokyo. When I inquired as to how that could happen I received the explanation that, "There was a misprint on the tape". They also immediately corrected the error and reduced my price. I believe we are talking about major routine hanky panky here. It may even be criminal behavior on the part of some individuals and market making companies. How about the increase in the spread after the three for one split to $30? If I do sell, it will only be with the intent of buying back later and it will only be with a very small percent of my overall position in Softbank. I do have to reiterate that trading softbank is almost impossible with the current batch of market makers and the current spread in bid and asked. For the stock of a major company like Softbank to be in the clutches of these particular market makers is similar to dealing with the Mafia in some respects. So the Justice Department thinks Microsoft has a monopoly? <G>.
