"She merely wondered about the timing of a GG mention of that company with respect to the current price and the lockup provisions." Merely wondered? Really? Well this is exactly what she said: "I don't trust anything GG backs and this time I'm told he got a pile of warrants (or pre-IPO shares), so he has plenty of reason to hype the heck out of it." I read this as a flat out accusation that Gilder got warrants and proceeded to pump the stock. Pat refused to disclose the sources of her info. So lets not kid ourselves that her comments were mild: these are very serious charges. And for all I know she may be right, but it should be noted that Gilder has denied he has done this.
