A slight increase in short interest during the March-April Naz slide is to be expected, I think. Remember when CUBE had 10 million-plus shorts? <g>

Once they are short the only thing remaining to do is "buy to cover".

Because they have to buy, a share already short is just support or fuel for the upside.
