I see what you are saying-- just that a self-policing group for guns would be 280,000,000 people. Kinda large for any type of agreement.

I think that we have had some experience with peer groups that clean up their profession. Lawyers come to mind. I am not too happy with their results. Maybe we should have a peer group for used car salesmen to clean up their act.
