<<By the time I had gotten to the condition I was in, I had been drinking over a quart of hard booze a day for over 40 years, had wrecked 12 cars, >>

Jeez, I have 9 more years of doing a quart a day to catch up with you. Never have wrecked a car though.

Mt dad had a partner who would down a pint of vodka as an eye opener and then would go through 2 quarts before 5:30 pm. When he turned 76 he up and quit one day and never had another drink until he died at 81.

Not being much of a reader, I was loaned and subsequently read a very interesting book titled, "Angels On Assignment". I don't remember who wrote it or where one might find a copy, but I found it to be very interesting reading (not to mention memorable since it has to have been about 10 to 15 years since I read it).

It is about a minister who has gotten on in years and starts getting visitations from angels. It seems, if I'm remembering correctly, all of the visitations were at night. I don't believe the book was of a prophetic nature, but more about what God expects from individuals. I would recommend the book highly to anyone who is interested in angels or has even had a passing curiosity.

Thank you for relating your story of triumph.

Mike
