I would want to see:

1. them able to monetize their technology to the point where "JIT" financing isn't their MO.
2. a small series of competitive wins with customers with fast growing products.
3. consistent execution on management guidance.
4. regular, consistent management guidance.

At least some of the above would be necessary to remove the skepticism management has earned. Even then I wouldnt invest until an opportune event catalyzed an opportunity. Something like a market-wide downturn or a 1 quarter miss.

At that point it would begin to approach attractiveness. At this point, there is little to suggest skepticism isn't appropriate.
