Michael, Great article!!! It may be that people are finally getting a belly full of such depraved conduct by everyone in the administration. Isn't it odd, that all this has come to a major situation because of a child? Don't I remember such a thing happening before?

PREZ FOE: BILL'S STILL QUIBBLING OVER DIDDLING

WASHINGTON - President Clinton is arguing all over again about
whether he had sex with Monica Lewinsky in a fight to keep his
legal license, a lawyer in the case said yesterday. Clinton
risks disbarment because a federal judge concluded he had sex
and lied about it. The judge found Clinton in contempt of
court for lying and referred the matter to the Arkansas bar
for disciplinary action.

Clinton paid Judge Susan Webber Wright's $90,000 contempt-of-
court fine but has never admitted she was correct in ruling
that he lied under oath.

In the 85-page brief Clinton filed last week in the legal
proceeding to disbar him, he argues once again about the
definition of "sexual relations" and the meaning of "alone,"
lawyer Matthew Glavin said.

"It's remarkable. He still thinks it's about sex. He still
thinks it's about Monica Lewinsky. He still thinks it's not
perjury," said Glavin, who heads the conservative Southeastern
Legal Foundation, which is seeking to disbar Clinton.

"It's a pathetic attempt to defend the indefensible. There is
nothing new. You have heard all these defenses before."

Clinton's response has not yet been made public - the White
House is refusing to release it or comment on it - but copies
went out this week to Glavin and Judge Wright.

Glavin said he's allowed to describe Clinton's defense but not
release it. The director of the Arkansas disbarment panel
didn't return calls.

Clinton first got into legal hot water by testifying in the
Paula Jones case, before Wright, that he never had sex with
Lewinsky and couldn't recall being alone with her - even
though she performed oral sex on him 10 times near the Oval
Office.

In his bid to save his law license, Clinton also attacks Paula
Jones's lawyers and argues that Lewinsky was never relevant to
the Jones lawsuit, so any lies about her would be immaterial.

Clinton's brief, which was filed by his private defense
lawyer, David Kendall, includes an appendix on case law that
runs more than 400 pages.

Wright's office got a copy of Clinton's defense Thursday, a
clerk said, but it's not yet clear if she plans to respond to
it. Glavin said he'll respond next week.
