Web-footed,

You're right. I owe you an apology for pegging you as a short. I'm sorry. I owe you an apology for calling you dishonest. I'm sorry.

I caught your act on the Gilder ASAP thread (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=13516722) and the last two posts in your profile made you look like a short to me because I didn't open the links.

I should have looked closer.

I have followed this thread from the start but I've been out of town this week and my memory has gotten fuzzy on who's who. I think I confused you with Stock Hawk - oops.

On the other hand I was incredulous to read your post about the bad oil. I've been eating Krispy Kremes for 40 years and I've never had that problem. I guess I've just had good timing. Maybe the oil wasn't old and had been heated at too high a temperature (unlikely) or maybe the problem was with your palate - is it remotely possible you were mistaken or your taste buds were taking the night off?
If you were on the mark, I'm glad you fingered the Van Nuys guys for their "bad oil day."

Good luck as a KREM long. I'll be in there with you in a few months.

Now, I'm off to Krispy Kreme for three original glazed.

Regards,
CC, aka narrow minded pigeon brain
