Web Myst,

I caught your second act on the Gilder thread - I hereby give you standing ovation.

I hate to hear that your experience at the Van Nuys store was less than delightful. I hope your report to KREM has that franchisee in hot oil, too. And I know what you mean about being able to tell the difference between fresh and bad cooking oil. I rarely eat fries from burger joints because the oil is regularly overused. The worst is when your fries taste like those fried fish patties.

And I think KREM *should* hire you as their quality control person. In fact, I like the idea so much I've decided to become the volunteer KREM quality control person for my local store. I hereby pledge to eat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at least once a week to insure they meet the high standards we've all come to expect.<G>

Happy investing and doughnut eating,

CC
