From the time I clicked the link until Ron Insana started speaking was a total of 3 seconds.Is that how you ran your test?

I am using Southwestern Bell DSL with perhaps ~6 registry setting tweaks.patches,etc that I have installed over the past couple months..

Whoa, I just downloaded that 2.8M file using @Home in 4 seconds with a peak speed of
1.23 MB/sec. Is that right 9,840kb/sec? OMG, that would be 175x faster than 56k modem. =)

As of this date and time, it took me 8 seconds and peeked over 300k/sec.

my download time (1 min 45 sec) even with cable modem, left me totally eating everyone's dust.

but we can't have people on this thread feeling insecure about the speed of their connection, now can we?
