Dear Rarebird: The most interesting part is the authors naitivity!! Every study I have ever seen talks about expontential growth in DEMAND for broadband. The opposite of what he says. As to CSCO itself, I would be the first to admit its priced high. I only bought it at the dip (still high) but I think with its growth, while it may languish for awhile, it will eventually grow out of its problems of valuation. JDN

Rarebird, This Ackerman piece has been floating around SI for a few weeks. It turns out that the article is terminally flawed; check out some of his math and the basic data he uses. You might also review some of the prior writings of this perennial bear:
