I know what you mean, of course. Just a curious aside: when one of my kids was in the sixth grade, or so, one of his courses had an investing appreciation part to it, where they were taught a little about stocks and asked to pick 5 they would buy by looking at the NYSE listings. Damned if he didn't pick the most expensive one at the time. I forget what it was (not IBM, DEC, or any other obvious one). He just thought that, if it had gone that high, it would probably continue to go higher. Fortunately, his old man didn't buy it.
