MSFT - I am disappointed by the DOJ decision to breakup MSFT and more disappointed by the fact that the breakup of AT&T case was referenced throughout. I might be missing something here, but my understanding is the AT&T case was very much a US exclusive deal. MSFT is a world-wide company and I wondered how much consideration has been given to the implications this has to the rest of the world. Has the UN been consulted?

The driving force for this case was quoted as "to provide choice to American consumers". What about the consumers outside the US?

Another bad example of applying a US rule (the Anti-trust) to a world-wide phenomenon, in my books.
