Thanks for the excellent analysis.

I'd hesitate to label NGWS as hype since it's too early in
the game, unlike SAA. It may turn out to be a hype -- like
most grand plans usually do.

Should be fun to watch how things unfold. It's funny how
I think IBM the least likely winner for precisely the
same reasons - the ghost of SAA, and their lack of control
over any of the technologies involved. Jini, may be. So far
it is more hype than reality.

Interesting tidbit re IBM's strong Java interest. Thanks.

Either way these are interesting times for Citrix.
