If you are talking about 6.5, you can place any indicator on any part of a chart. As you drag the indicator down from the scroll window, you will notice that the chart will change colors as you scroll by. Just make sure the advance issues is the part that is highlighted before you let go and your indicator should be using that as the source.

I do the same for my composite new highs/new lows ratio which my system gives buy and sell signals for the whole market based on this. I run a black background with red and green candles and when I am matching an indicator up my screen turns purple. Of course if you are running white backgrounds, it might change to a different color. Just watch close and you should see it change.

Lee is right - just click and drag your indicator to whatever plot you want it calculated on - watch for the color change, and then drop it.
