CE won't cut it against palm or other wireless connections to the net, but it does well in industrial applications, whcih is a big market.

You don't think CE will dominate? I don't think it will do a windows...but I look for it to gain a
good chunk of market share.

James,

I really do not know although I have recently done some homework because I was making a purchase of a new PDA. Palm is by far the market share leader but they are playing the Apple game of years ago making theirs proprietery. The in hind sight was a huge error for Apple. Are things diffeent now? I do not know. I do believe that there are many firms that can make excellent operating systems for PDAs and have the application be interoperable if that is the correct word. My opinion is we are going to see a variety of operating systems for PDAs and no requirements of what software will work on which. PC sales will slow as PDAs sales increase. Micrsoft's PDA software will be as good as any and they still have the lion's share of the application software on a PC. I would go with the application devision. In which department does the internet division lie?
