Add that to the list of wild assumptions being prematurely bandied about. If it is broken up, it will be at least two co's with different people and missions, and possibly company cultures, that are different from present-day msft; the parts will not be the same as the whole, and that's what is missing in all these rosy assumptions.

It, or they, will not be the MSFT everyone is familiar with. It seems everyone is so eager to comnfort themselves about the prospect of a msft break-up, that they are unwilling to recognize this.
