One can think American imperialism is destructive without being a communist. Imperialism isn't really consistent with capitalism- which hypothesizes free markets. Imperialism implies an exploitive and inherently unequal market relationship. Thus the inherent inequality implied by imperialism seems to me to negate the "free market" required for true capitalism to exist.

I say this as a gentle capitalist.

Good luck finding practising communists on Silicon Investor, lol.

That your nation has in Iberoam‚rica abused its power in committing and/or aiding murder and genocide among various other crimes against humanity is not a matter of debate, it is a matter of documented fact. Unless in your world the CIA is a communist propagandiser - gwu.edu

Another interesting CIA document here, it applies to the Guatemala story - Message 13516454

Sorry if you'd like to suppress this information and hope everybody forgets.
They don't. That's why it is an integral part of any story involving latinos and the US. Including this one. And irregardless of the various isms, whether they be ones you like or ones you don't like. Some things are way above isms, e.g. son-stealing.

hrdata.aaas.org - more on Guatemala. If you think this doesn't matter, or that there are no parallels with Cuba, you're wrong, ism-man.
