It's amazing that real estate holdings still almost entirely determine a Japanese co's value. Decisions regarding loans and capital investment for corporations still are made made on their holdings of artificailly inflated real estate? This and the Japanese govt's shadow budget doom Japan markets to further malaise, at best, for the foreseeable future, imo.

No wonder their stock market is still tanked. I wonder if all the folks who try to draw parallels between the Japan stock crash and US equity markets realize this?! No, i would say.
