Zeev
Let's look at ELON a different way.
This is a very "perfect" company(g)
It can convert it's sales revenue to 100% earnings.
For last 12 months:
39.8 M sales / 33.1 M shares = $1.20 sales /share
Now convert sales to earnings.
Now we get a PE of 32.56/1.2 = 27.1
And the CC said sales are growing at 30%/year
Now we have a company like NVLS.
But we don't have EPS of $1.20, we don't any EPS(g)

Larry Dudash
PS: I still have a small position in ELON.

total energy costs of $2000/year (and that is high),/;mine are about $ 300 monthly x 12= $3600.
750mm on housing in U.S is too high, but if you add in Municipalities, schools, colleges, and factories, office bldg. its too low.
Oh yeah, then include, Europe, AustraAsia, etc. and it is too low. imho.
Remeber two types of leverage, 1) operating leverage, and 2) financial leverage.
It is the op. lev. we are looking for, each additional unit sold has an increasing amount of profit going to the bottom line.
It will trade in a range until more events take place...<g>

There are quite a few multimillion dollar huge houses being built around me. 5 of them by a friend of mine. When I mention aautomation using ELON prducts, I get a blank stare from the builder as well as the architect.

When I proceed to inform them about the products, they dont show any interest at all. Not even a single question.

This means imho, that only people who are aware of and are first movers, will get the products for their homes. That would mean a very few homes in the foreseeable future.
