Paul,

If you watched the Intel webcast you would notice that Celeron shipments went down big time in Q1. Something widely discussed on this thread over Q1.

If you noticed, Intel has cancelled plans to get new Celerons out this Q. So, Intel is continuing to cut Celeron supply to preserve ASPs for Q2. I wonder if there is any material impact to cutting a few package options out.

<I hope it's true.>

If you mean that AMD will get additional K6 business because of this then I say that is a totally losing scenario for AMD. Intel is taking the high-end and leaving AMD to fill the low-end. And, our friends at AMD central are screwing up the infrastructure side and shipping K6s instead of Athlons and falling right into Intel's strategy.

I personally think this has become a sucker game for AMD. And, this will remain so until infrastructure issues get straightened out.
