gregor, I am well. I have come to the conclusion that only the Lord knows what is going to happen near term in the markets. I am amazed that we are bouncing ... I just stay long gold stocks and watch mostly, except for a few short bets now and then. This month I will have been at my "new" job a year and can start participating in a 401k -- I'll direct it all to fixed income for the next year, I think. Praise God for my job. It has been tough in some respects, even disappointing in some respect, but I work with a great group of people ... many whose hearts are in the the right place ... Had some turmoil in some other areas -- decided to join another fellowship. Not an easy decsion. My 5-year old doesn't understand ... hard to explain to him, too. I hope you are well. (Please don't give me any credit for making any predictions about financial markets -- the only one I stick to is: there has been a huge credit expansion and it'll blow up one day -- I simply don't know when. I still believe that and am very averse to using credit. Look back to where I said I thought the long bond would be and you can see that I was pretty far off ...)
