Rare. I also enjoy some of the advances made by technology. But I don't buy into the notion that it is an entirely new world. There's been a lot of talk about productivity advancements because of this technology. A study ordered by the fed and released just recently, disproves this claim. We can only assume that Greenspan is aware of this fact, but still has a NASD P/E of about 200 staring him square in the face. A lot have people have been misled by the experts in this mania. I take my info from the following story.............

hula hoops in the 60's and slinkys in the 50's

slinky - my spelling may be off... coiled spring, a toy

a slinky was Science
displayed in an artistic format
expressed from an engineering perception

<<Techne is a Greek word which means art.
Technology in its classical form is the Science of Art.

Imagine the Nasdaq
doing a slinky
just so the hands holding each end of the slinky
remain close together
about 3 inches apart
and verticle difference about 5 inches
then stability abound
and even when becoming unstable
easy to regain control and resume stability
but increase distance apart
and increase verticle seperation
breath taking, amazing, awesome, powerful & alluring
stability and a potential lost of control
intermixing, flowing back and forth
until collapse
... awesome, powerful & alluring
like a moth seeing bright light inside darkness
is it a light to search for food
or a hot flame to cook ones goose
the more extremes the slinky can be made to occur in
the more one wants to go to the limit
to push one's ability of success
to the limit without failure
may be a fallacy
but hard to resist.
