What do you think about oversized or undersized grips. The reason I bring this up is that I recently went to a cord with a rib and think this is a bit smaller than my old grips. I rewrapped one of my irons with three tapes to make it thicker and I think I was hitting and releasing it cleaner. I am just not sure yet.

Now I'm a little puzzled (nothing out of the ordinary). Smaller grips tend to make you more wristy whereas larger grips tend to inhibit wrist release and can cause you to hit the ball lower and to the right. You mentioned in a post a couple of days ago that you were working on lengthening your backswing. This may tie in with Magnatizers thoughts on your tearing gloves. You could be loosing your grip at the top of your backswing and regripping (open maybe?) on the way down. This will cause you to tear your glove in the pad area. To add to Mags excellent grip tip, you might check to see if you are gripping firmly enough with the last three fingers of your left hand.

This rambling post is confusing me too. Goodnight and good golf.
