r. edwards: I am glad to see the swedes trying this. But I can't see Pacific Gas and Electric out here doing it. The markets are not the same here. Here, if there were adaptors for appliances, we would not NEED the power provider to be totally involved. I do NOT want to be dependent upon a power provider. The solution in this country, is adaptors for apliances, which would not be that difficult to make or install. I would certainly install them; I have access to appliance repair types, who could easily install same.
In this country, adaptors are more relevant than provider endorsement. Then you get alot of network providers dedicated to home type use, and you get real income streams going, with real nice feedback from everyone involved.
What are they going to do next, say that ge is on the edge of adding them into everyting? Will not happen. All that is needed is adapters.

r. edwards: what is the technology behind the Vattenfall system? Your referenced article talks about adaptors, in the way I was also. What they describe, is what elon should be doing. It is the adaptors, and the ability to actually install same which produce income for elon. I don't see any need for the power company to be in this business here. I see orientation towards a "power company mentality" to be against interests of shareholders of elon.
For example, maybe Dell should have gone through power companies.
The Swedes are accustomed to "big brother" in different form and shapes. (they pay horrendous taxes and are not accustomed to our market action) We are not; I am certainly not. The Swedes pay enormous taxes, and are very simplistic about some things. Was married to one...anyway, moving on...
Anyone, what am I missing?
